The Location
The absolute location of Africa is between 20 degrees east and 60 degrees west, and between 35 degrees north and 35 degrees south. Africa has 54 separate countries and is the second largest continent. The Relative Location: Separated from Europe by the Mediterranean Sea and bounded by the Atlantic and Indian Oceans on the west and east respectively. It's connected to Asia by Egypt's Sinai Peninsula.
